Midgard Project Management is seeking a motivated, dependable and organized individual to join our team in Regina! The primary role of this position is to provide project management support on projects big and small. General Job Duties:
Educate team on proper project management processes
Facilitate/Oversee project planning/control/schedules; keep project advancing
Develop Project Plan/Schedule/Work Breakdown Structure; manage Critical Path
Estimate/Track/Analyze Project Costs
Manage Issue, Risk, Change Control process
Document control/meeting minutes/proofread reports
Proposal Duties:
Monitor sites for RFPs (ie. MERX, SK Tenders)
Define project scope; create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Assist with writing and/or proofreading proposals; ensure proposals comply with RFP
Finalize/delivery of proposal by closing date and time
Project Duties:
Start-up & Planning:
Organize start-up meetings, issue minutes
Create project charter/contracts
Prepare and baseline a resource loaded project schedule with input from the appropriate parties
Prepare Project Execution Plan
Execution/Monitoring & Controlling:
Attend/document all project meetings; produce/issue reports and logs
Monitor project budget/manage project schedule
Monitor project risk/maintain risk register
Project Closeout:
Confirm all requirements have been met
Hold lessons learned meeting/compile all lessons learned into archive
Archive all project information
Qualifications/Experience:
Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Project
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, writing skills
Valid drivers license
PMI's CAPM or PMP certification an asset
1 yr working as part of a project team; 3 yrs working in a professional office
