Description

Seeking a Full Time Special Education Teacher for Se-Se-Wa-Hum High School. The year will commence on August 30th, 2021. Se-Se-Wa-Hum High School enrolment is approximately 381 Grade six to twelve Students.

The Special Education Teacher will provide unique education and training opportunities for students with physical, emotional, mental, and learning disabilities. Special Education Teachers are patient and understanding professionals dedicated to providing students with the tools and guidance needed to help them succeed.

Bachelor of Education Degree
A Valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate (STF)
Special Education Certificate
An understanding of and experience with, students with Special Needs and Learning       Disabilities
Cultural Competency
Experience in delivering specialized instructional strategies to students with special needs
Be well versed in Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Demonstrated organization and analytical skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of the teaching team
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with parents and colleagues
Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills
Provide a recent vulnerable sector criminal reference check
