Description

We currently have an opening for a Civil CAD Technologist in our Saskatoon office. In this position, you will participate in the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects for both private and public sector clients. Infrastructure types might include landfills, site drainage, ponds, energy systems, water distribution systems, and wastewater collection systems.  You will also do work site visits and assist in surveying and other field work as required. You will provide support to other members of our team while working on a variety of projects in a collaborative team environment.

As part of the Saskatoon Infrastructure Divisions, you will report to the Saskatoon Technical Services Manager within the SK-MB Operation.

You should have the following qualifications:
  
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design & Drafting Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution
1-3 years of relevant experience in the drafting of civil infrastructure projects, gained in an academic or workplace setting  
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit  
Experience working in the field is an asset  
Strong attention to detail  
Committed team player  
Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work independently
Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills    
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Possess a valid class 5 driver's license
Available to travel on occasion
