Description

Dasro is looking for a Vendor Relationship Manager for a one-year contract for one of its clients in Regina.

Location: The role will be 100% remote while COVID-19 travel/social distancing restrictions are in place. Once those restrictions are lifted, onsite requirements will be reassessed at that time.

Term: July 19, 2021, to July 30, 2022



This role will focus on the management of relationships and contracts with some of ITs vendors. The contracts will include software, hardware and services, and the ongoing management of the vendor during their engagement. Areas of focus include the following:



    Ensuring the vendor delivers as outlined in their contract(s)
    Manage and execute regular vendor governance as determined by vendor type
    Ensure a great experience for the vendor and the business during the engagement
    Complete Purchase Orders or Purchase Requisitions
    Prevent and resolve any issues that may arise
    Negotiate contract details and any change requests that may arise during the contract
    Assessment of identified vendor risk items and management of mitigating factors
    Management of vendor performance and ensuring it is at the desired level
    Assist with Admin duties as it relates to Contracts and Purchasing documents

Qualifications:

    Understanding of SAP
    Understanding of ServiceNow and SharePoint
    Understanding of IT solution and services procurement, and contract types
    Experience managing contracts/vendors and associated deliverables
    Negotiating skills
    Extremely organized
    Communication and relationship building skills
    Very personable
    Must be able to manage multiple priorities at the same time with ease
    Decisive, independent, and strong initiative
