Description

The Director, Asset Integrity & Reliability is responsible for developing and implementing the corporate asset management strategy and providing leadership to the Asset Integrity and Reliability team, ensuring activities are carried out in an effective, safe, timely and cost-effective manner.  This position guides programs, plans, processes and standards that maintain integrity and reliability of corporate assets, mitigates system and environmental risk and ensures work is aligned with corporate strategic direction and completed in accordance with regulatory standards.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
-Degree in Engineering
-Professional Engineer Designation and registered to practice in Saskatchewan AND/OR;
-Nine (9) years of related experience (pipeline integrity, mechanical design and maintenance, metallurgy, failure analysis) with exposure to natural gas industry practices and operations.  
-Ability to apply a strategic focus to all areas of responsibility and manage innovative departmental practices in a highly regulated environment.
-Experience in assigning accountability for monitoring results and making necessary adjustments.
-Ability to coach, mentor and influence employee engagement while building and maintaining effective relationships and empowering team members to succeed.
-Results oriented and strategic thinker with the ability to negotiate and manage complex and confidential issues with extreme sensitivity and professionalism.
-Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork.
