Facility: Royal University Hospital
Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Services, the position is committed to the integration of knowledge, skills, and process to assist in coordinating the orientation of new staff, delivery of pharmacy student programs and to ensure development and upkeep of tools and information for healthcare providers and/or patients re: medication-related issues. The incumbent is also responsible for representing the Department on designated committees and coordinating pharmacy initiatives as it relates to the designated projects. The incumbent will be required to work in a Pharmacist role when required.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
Membership in a national professional association (e.g. CSHP, CCCP), is an asset
Experience
2 years previous experience in a relevant practice area in a hospital pharmacy setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accept and implement change
Commitment to continuing professional development
Articulates well the theory and knowledge related to pharmaceutical care
Ability to identify, prevent and solve drug-related problems
Ability to integrate clinical knowledge and experience into activities to enhance client care as it relates to drug therapy
Effective verbal and written communication skills with patients, their representatives, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to work with minimal supervision to accomplish tasks in a timely manner  
Ability to work in a team setting in a positive manner
