The Buffalo Narrows Economic Development Corporation is seeking a full time Prep Cook for their new restaurant, the Buffalo Street Bistro, opening this summer. We are looking for someone that loves working in the food service industry, takes pride in their work, performs responsibly and takes instructions from kitchen manager, great at working in teams contributing to a positive environment, able to take a leadership role when needed, ensures that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion, and able to communicate clearly and respectfully with managers, kitchen and front of house personnel.
Requirements:
-Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
-Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
-Familiar with industry best practices
License/Certification:
Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
