Key Outcomes:
The Senior Accounting Administrator Reconciliations is responsible to ensure financial reporting results in accurate and complete data by preparing daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations within a given timeframe and using a standardized format, reporting any irregularities and/or variances identified during the preparation of the reconciliations, and working with various internal departments to ensure timely resolution of outages and escalating when necessary. This position is responsible for investigating, resolving and mitigating future reoccurrences of outages on account reconciliations, solving complex issues and problems using product and accounting knowledge, processing month-end recurring entries, and documenting procedures.

This position is also responsible for creating and delivering support solutions and financial reporting by being cross-trained and providing assistance and backup support to co-workers and providing technical and product support to business units by understanding how systems impact general ledger accounts.

Qualifications:
Completion of diploma or certificate in accounting
Two years experience in an office environment, preferably in accounting field
Knowledge of the credit union system and/or financial services sector would be an asset
