54e is a small team of experienced developers and robotics enthusiasts creating first-rate, magical, and thematic experiences. We are developing state-of-the-art realtime communication technology to bring together people, robotics, and AI.

Our flagship app, OneShot Golf, is the world's first competitive golf game that uses Connected Reality technology to put users in control of real world golfing robots for a true-to-life Esports experience.

We are looking for someone to apply their passion for Computer Vision to our real-world robotics stack. You will write code that enables our robots to identify and track objects in the physical world and provide intelligent insights to our end-users and other systems. All in realtime & with a necessary focus on performance and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

-Write code to accurately track key objects seen through our cameras
-Deploy and maintain configurations to our many golfing robots
-Develop tools to improve and automate the process of configuring our Computer Vision software
-Learn and leverage DirectShow camera APIs to do low-level, efficient camera integrations
-Interact with backend RESTful APIs and WebSockets-based services


The Ideal Candidate:

-Strong skills in OpenCV & Python
-Experience with Camera APIs (DirectShow especially)
-Loves learning and using cutting edge tech but is focused on greatest, not latest
-Isn't afraid to try, fail, and try again
-Can dream big and work with focus
