An established commercial scaled livestock farming operation located at the RM of Usborne is seeking a hire an in-house qualified and experience Farm Equipment Mechanic to maintain, upgrade and/or repair and day-to-day operation of the business' sets of existing heavy duty hog farming equipment.
The job will call for an engineering professional with an university education in the relevant field and hands on work experience of over five years in connection to the equipment servicing operations in the livestock farm sectors.
Existing equipment amongst the multiple hog barn buildings includes an array of animal feed processing machinery - weighting, mixing, grinding -, feeding and watering equipment and systems, climate monitoring and control systems, industrial grade cleaning equipment, material conveyance mechanisms, lighting and security alarms equipment and system and miscellaneous high powered motors, compressors, generator sets, boilers, pumps, ventilators and mobile lifts etc.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Owner/Manager and work daily closely alongside a team of skilled farm workers who speak either English / Vietnamese or both.
