Since 2005, Timber Restoration Services have been building and restoring timber structures in the USA, Canada, and Australia. We have an immediate need for an Project Manager to work out of our Dundurn, Saskatchewan office.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs in order to meet budgetary objectives
Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Coordinate staff and internal resources
Develop and implement quality control programs
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities
Participate in tender process i.e., design, submission and review
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Requirements
Excellent client-facing communication skills
Experience with process improvement and inventory control
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
Ability to work in a fast paced, concurrent project environment
Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of MS office, Google Drive, Google Sheets
Required Qualifications
Must have 5+ years of project management and related experience
BSc/BA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Must have construction industry experience
Must have a valid passport or the ability to obtain one
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Willingness to travel if necessary
