We are a young, dynamic, and growing association working on behalf of Saskatchewan theatre professionals.
Were looking for a team member who loves to engage with creative people, who appreciates and values what they do, and who knows how to use electronic and online tools to connect meaningfully and engagingly with human beings.
The successful applicant will work remotely.
Duties & Responsibilities
SATPs Communications & Engagement Coordinator will collaborate with the Executive Director to:
Enhance and maintain our website;
Build and maintain an active, engaging social media presence;
Promote and publicize SATP events and initiatives;
Maintain an up-to-date member database;
Welcome new members and invite current members to renew their memberships;
Develop and distribute an electronic newsletter for members;
Facilitate and provide technical support for virtual gatherings;
Attend meetings of the boards membership committee and support the committees initiatives;
Consult with our members about SATPs services, supports, and work; and
Identify and act on other opportunities to build a strong connection with our members.
Essential Capacities:
An effective, proficient, engaging communicator in written English;
Basic electronic layout, design, and composition skills;
Experienced with Squarespace and website development/maintenance;
Facility with commonly used social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and an understanding of their respective strengths and limits;
Comfort with the functionalities and essential architecture of commonly used virtual meeting platforms;
Able to create and modify electronic spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
