Description

Responsibilities:

This positions primary responsibility will be Data entry for payables and receivables, and processing of payments and other office and administrative duties. This will include and is not limited to:

- Managing the day-to-day of Obasa's President & CEO and ensure he is supported & running smoothly. (5-6 hours / week)
- Data entry for payables and receivables, and processing of payments monthly
- Filing and organizing sensitive and confidential documents
- Opening / organizing incoming confidential mail & processing outgoing mail
- Making deposits to the bank
- Acting as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
- Conducting research and creating reports on various topics based on the needs of the executive
- Supporting as needed in areas such as reconciliation, investigating discrepancies, follow-ups with suppliers and HR related activities
- Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of basic accounting and admin experience with Quick Books.
- Must have knowledge of QuickBooks and pervious experience
- Must be organized and able to work both independently and with a team
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with office hardware and software (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information is essential
- High attention to detail, proactive, proficient organizational skills
