Haztech has IMMEDIATE openings for qualified EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDERS to join our team for the Saskatchewan Wildfire Season.

Role Description
This role would be performed on an on-call basis to provide medical support during the Saskatchewan Wildfire Season. This role includes short notice travel and living away from home for stretches of time. As a member of Haztechs Basic Life Support (BLS) team, the Emergency Medical Responder provides onsite emergency medical services within the wildfire environment, tending to both urgent, and non-urgent medical needs. Responsibilities include the use of skills and expertise to provide emergency response, medical assessment, primary health care, injury prevention, and coordinate emergency medical evacuations as needed. You will exercise independence, judgment and initiative by logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems that arise on site.

Skills & Qualifications
- Completion of recognized Emergency Medical Responder Course & valid license in province of work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Valid drivers license and criminal record clearance
- Professionally represent Haztech and provide exceptional service to all clients
