Agriculture in the Classroom Saskatchewan (AITC-SK) is passionate about giving students amazing agriculture experiences to help them realize the incredible opportunities that the agriculture industry provides.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Fund Development Manager is responsible for the strategic development and ongoing management of the philanthropic and sponsorship portfolios. The Manager is a results-oriented individual with strong management skills and comfort with a hands-on approach to fund development.
Primary responsibilities involve overseeing the development and execution of AITC-SKs strategic fundraising plan, identifying sub-strategies for sponsorships, donations, and grants, in collaboration with the Executive Director (ED) and staff and in alignment with AITC-SKs strategic priorities and program outreach goals.  
Desired competencies include: 3+ years of experience in fund development in the not-for-profit sector with a track record of success; proven experience developing successful sponsorship and grant proposals; strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with a range of stakeholders; financial acumen and strong strategic thinker; excellent oral and written communication skills; confidence with proposal writing, public speaking, presentations.
Knowledge of and connections to the Saskatchewan agriculture industry is an asset.
