Highline Manufacturing is looking for a Tier IV Supervisor to join our assembly team in Vonda, SK.

PURPOSE:
-Guide the team to success by coaching, counseling, leading, and motivating
-Provide specific, day to day guidance and direction to a production team, including planning, organizing and team leading
-Assist with achieving departmental goals on a daily basis

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide leadership to team members including One on Ones
-Guide team members on how to work safely and advise Plant Leader of major safety concerns
-Work with team members on proper work methods and creating the Job Instruction breakdowns
-Assign work to team members, taking into account each individuals abilities
-Organize the work by ensuring that the materials, tooling and equipment necessary to do the job are in place
-Perform hands-on duties, when time permits
-Assist the Plant Leader with planning for future production requirements.
-Shift work required

QUALIFICATIONS:
-3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with previous supervisor experience is an asset but not required.
-Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
-Effective organizational skills
-Equipment and process knowledge
-Customer and employee focused attitude
-Strong computer skills
-Prospective Supervisor training is an asset but not a requirement
-Strong desire to improve the quality of your own thinking, as well as a desire to develop the skills and thinking of others
