We are seeking a highly motivated and eager Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic to join our service team. The right candidate is interested in learning how to service and maintain experience in a service environment, great attention to detail, independent and critical thinking, excellent communication skills, ability to fill in reports and pleasant demeanour with clients and working staff.
You would be assisting with the completion of our maintenance contracts on heat/cool rooftop units, make-up air units, and furnaces. This work includes but is not limited to doing maintenance on equipment, changing filters and belts, diagnosing issues, pressure washing condensers or cleaning with nitrogen, etc. You will work directly under our Senior HVAC technicians who will mentor you as you progress through your apprenticeship program.
We offer competitive wages, benefits and an RRSP program. Each employee is supplied with a cell phone. The apprentice will be riding with the senior HVAC staff.
You should have your own PPE, gauges, meters, etc. There is an on-call rotation that you will be a part of as well.
