Description

Golden West Broadcasting has been connecting communities for over 60 years. We are proud to tell local stories on CKSW, CJSN, The Eagle, Magic 97, and Swift Current Online.

We are currently looking for our next Program Director!


In this role, you will:

-Lead an existing team of on-air personalities and news reporters
-Guide radio and portal content, to ensure it is relevant and engaging
-Interact with audience members and cultivate strategic community relationships
-Hire and train new content professionals as needs arise
-Plan promotions that will resonate with our audience and advance station goals


The Ideal Candidate

-You are a professional with proven success in broadcast media.
-You are passionate about growing audience by delivering engaging content.
-You are a strong leader, with a passion for coaching others toward success.  
-You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and are familiar with the Canadian Press Guide.
-You are eager to engage with the community in Swift Current.  
-Experience with WideOrbit, Burli, photography, and/or videography are an asset.
