JOB DESCRIPTION:
Operate batch furnaces and induction hardener to heat treat metal parts according to customer specifications.
Prepare parts for heat treat as needed.
Monitor parts in furnace to ensure correct processing time, gases and temperatures.
Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move and load parts.
Test parts for hardness case depth and communicate problems, verbally and/or in writing, to coworkers in order to maintain quality.
Record processing steps, times, and temperatures including furnace charts for inspection and billing.
Must be able to work in a hot environment

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Will possess a demonstrated history of achieving goals verified through metrics.
Positive, high energy candidate who is aggressively constructive and adaptable to change.
Proven ability to understand complex drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with data driven analytical ability.
Understanding of heat treatment and induction hardening processes.
Only candidates that are permanent residents or citizens of Canada will be considered for this position.
