Full time Pharmacy Technician

Full time pharmacy technician position at independently owned, non-unionized retail compounding pharmacy. We are a very unique environment, a retail pharmacy located within a hospital. We are a PCCA licensed compounding pharmacy.

MUST be a Pharmacy technician graduate of a Pharmacy technician program. Preference will be given to graduates of SaskPolyTech.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MUST!

Current open hours are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. Closed on stat holidays. Position available will be 40 hours per week, 9am-5pm (rare occasions will require availability outside of these hours)

Duties (vary depending on rotation): taking in Rx, filling Rx, 3rd party billing, compliance packaging, managing Rx and front store inventory, cash register, month end duties, year end duties, answering phones, compounding (sterile and non sterile *training will be provided), calculating formulas, pharmacist support, and more.
Registered technician duties may also apply if applicant is licensed.

Areas of specialty at our pharmacy include: PCCA compounding, Ideal Protein, Sigvaris support hose, breast pump rentals, Natural products.

Preference will be given to applicants with Saskatchewan Pharmacy Technician experience and Pharmacy Technicians who are currently registered or currently undergoing registration in Saskatchewan.
