Working under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing a finance department that supports our manufacturing and sales operations. Experience within a manufacturing setting will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of weekly and monthly financial reporting/metrics
Preparation and Maintenance of budgets and forecasts
Job cost analysis
Review of day-to-day accounting and entries to ERP system
Coaching/leadership of bookkeeping staff
Preparation or review and filing of excise and sales tax
Liaison with IT support, Insurance, banking, external accountants and regulatory bodies
Identify and recommend improvements in processes and control
Will need to develop a comprehensive understanding of the ERP system
