NCCHD is currently taking applications for a full time technician for light duty work and safeties, 1st year apprentice to journeyperson are welcome to apply, and SGI ticketed would be preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- 1st year to journey person tickets
- Installing custom accessories
- Welding and building custom parts as needed
- Small painting and body touch ups
- Custom wiring repairs and full installs of wiring harness
- Customizing work ( i.e. locker installs, wiring, extending brake lines, suspension, exhaust, winch installs)
- SGI safety inspections ( preferred but not required)
- AC work
- Engine repairs and tunning ( fuel injection and carbureted )
- Install of engine components ( i.e. starts, rads, alternators, etc)
- Knowledge of classic vehicles 1960-1989 ( understanding the value of classic cars)
- Repairs on drive line and 4 wheel drive systems
- Able to do regular maintenance oil changes, fluid changes, tire rotations
- Assist heavy duty mechanics in shop as needed and work well with others and take direction from shop foreman
Work hours are 40 hrs/week Monday to Friday.
Wages will depend on experience.
