The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Answer/redirect all in-coming calls on the main switch board; take messages
Receive/distribute in-coming/out-going mail/parcels record and distribute
Carry out general office duties (typing, photocopying, filing, greet the public);
Book boardrooms on outlook
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Track staff attendance daily
Maintain positive public relations on behalf of the Administration Department
Other duties such as keeping (coffee room, boardrooms, and work area) tidy
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12;
Must be polite and cheerful
Preference for a person with training in Office Administration and or Office Education;
One-year experience in an office setting is required;
Combination of education and experience may be considered;
Training in MS Office, or willing to receive training offered by the Employer;
Experience using office equipment (i.e. fax machine, photocopier, and computers/outlook);
Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential;
Punctual, honest, reliable, and enthusiastic:
Valid drivers license (an asset but is not required)
Must provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
Ability to deal with the public, excellent communications skills (written and verbal);
Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
