Vendasta is seeking an innovative Instructional Designer to conceptualize, design, and develop and maintain training content.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams to develop facilitator-led training and eLearning materials that foster the business and sales acumen of all learners
Facilitating curriculum creation between stakeholders including vendors, thought leaders, and subject matter experts
Experiment with the range of tools available in our LMS, and beyond (community forums, groups, courses, modules, quizzes)
Create manageable and meaningful learning experiences from complex products and abstract processes
Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
Work with stakeholders to ensure that learning materials are relevant and current
Skills & Qualifications
4+ years experience in eLearning-based instructional design (preference given to that in the software/technology/SaaS sector)
Graphic design, audio-video production, and photo editing experience
An eye for typography, composition, and colour, all with high attention to detail
Proficient in various training methodologies and techniques, as well as curriculum development, for a wide variety of roles and required skill sets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present to and engage with large groups
Strong organizational, planning, project management, and problem solving skills
The ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment that thrives off of innovation, drive, and agility
Passion & courage to develop and present learning solutions that fulfill the needs of audience
Technologies We Use
SCORM and Tin Can (xAPI) authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline)
Adobe Creative Cloud, focusing on Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings)
WordPress (HTML, CSS)
