The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for using our engineering database to complete their projects on time, on budget and with minimal supervision.

Job Overview:
Document machine drawings, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Attain, maintain and organize specification approvals of production drawings and specification procedures
Issue part numbers
Maintain customer current/obsolete specifications
Design and cost new Wireform products and processes
Design and initiate work orders to build tooling
Record and maintain changes in bill of materials
Maintain accurate and timely hard copy and computer records
Prepare corrective action reports for both internal and external issues
Provide technical support to customers in the development of new products
Inspect and test customer-sent samples to ensure compliance of S3 Wireform specifications
Maintain accurate records of quoted pieces not yet assigned part numbers
Manage Capital projects and control all documents related to Capital Projects.
Requirements:
Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent preferred
Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Solid Works
Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule a wide variety of tasks
Possess exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
Possess strong understanding of Continuous Improvement Methodologies
Positive and co-operative team player that can communicate affectively in English
Capable of working with minimal supervision
