Description

We're looking to add a talented designer to join our team of digital marketing experts. Your role will be to support a team of dedicated professionals as they plan, create, and execute digital marketing campaigns. You will need to interact with different clients, and create a variety of designs: from creating static images to animated stickers, to lower thirds and simple video editing. What content is effective is always changing, so you don't have to know everything, but you have to know how to Google anything and be willing to learn and adapt to change on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
Design graphics for a variety of digital media, including social media, digital ads, and websites
Adhere to existing brand identities, whether from explicit brand guides or implicit from existing assets
Communicate with clients and staff in a professional manner focused on collaboration, problem-solving and results
Negotiate complex projects and timelines with co-workers and clients to deliver work predictably
Stay abreast of new technologies within your sphere of responsibility

Requirements:
A very high degree of computer-literacy
Very competent with the relevant Adobe Creative Cloud programs
Experience using 3rd party design assets
A comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of design, and practical ability with them
Ability to live up to and adhere to the branding of major Canadian and international brands
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
Creative and persistent problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and formats
