The REACT Waste Management District is currently seeking an individual with experience in integrated solid waste management to manage the operations of 2 landfills and 18 transfer stations to meet regulatory requirements. The district consists of 11,000 square kilometers and serves a population of approximately 26,000.
Duties will involve environmental monitoring, leachate/storm water management, construction and design, decommissioning of historic cells, site remediation/reclamation, environmental audits and impact assessments, supervision of landfill staff, project management and reporting. Successful candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting with the skill to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
