Description

We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Agronomist to support the ever expanding growth of our company.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Agronomist will be responsible for proactively developing customer relationships and providing knowledgeable services to our existing customer base. Our company is driven on top quality service; the successful candidate must be able to forward that top service on to our customers.

Responsibilities' of the successful candidate will be to help our customers become more profitable in their production practices and more sustainable for the future. Be able to offer new perspectives while listening to what our customers' needs are and what direction of their farm goals they would like to achieve. Consult with growers on agronomic issues and challenges, and be able to offer solid solutions.

Perform general administrative duties including inside sales, answering telephones, and general office paperwork.

The successful candidate must also assist in growing our customer database, participate in customer functions and meetings and keep up to date with current market trends, product knowledge, and practices.

Qualifications for the successful applicant will be three to five years of progressively responsible sales based experience, agricultural back ground. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a motivated self-starter as well as a team player.

The successful candidate must also be willing to help out in any area if the need arises, they must have a valid Class 5 drivers license.
