Since its inception in 1989 as a transformer maintenance and repair shop, PTI Transformers has grown to be the largest privately-owned Canadian manufacturer of electrical power and distribution transformers.

PTI is seeking candidates for a shop labour position.  This position will assist with the fabricating and cleaning of small parts to support our manufacturing area.  Individuals must possess a mechanical aptitude and be familiar with operating a grinder and other small hand tools.  Welding skills would be an asset.

To be successful in this position you must show confidence and competence while working independently to meet the monthly quota set out by the department supervisor. Knowledge of workplace health and safety, time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail are also required.  If you are a team player, dedicated and have a proven record of strong work attendance, you will enjoy working in a facility with a fixed schedule that includes an EDO (Earned Day Off) every 2 weeks.

To be considered for this position, you will have successfully completed Grade 12. You MUST be living in Canada and be eligible to work.  We do not have an open Labour Market Impact Analysis.  A criminal record check will be conducted before hire.
