SIGN is looking for motivated, empathetic, flexible and helpful individuals, who would be responsible in assisting the Team in the day to day residential operation of the Adolescent Group Home by mentoring, role modeling and caring for the needs of the residents, while striving to develop healthy relationships. These positions are short notice call in to fill shifts for day, evening and/or night rotations. Rate of pay will be as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the union.

Expectations:
Collaborate with coworkers and youth to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate youth care.
Help to ensure that the nutritional and health requirements of all residents are met.
Document all relevant information pertaining to the residents and maintain necessary files
Plan, teach and participate in social and recreation opportunities
Complete daily reporting and filing as needed
Follow all safety, program and agency Policies and Procedures
Communicate effectively with coworkers, youth and management
Qualifications and experience:
The energy and aptitude to support youth while working well with a team;
Experience working with youth and/ or in a residential setting would be ideal;
Post-secondary education and/ or training relevant to the position would be an asset;
A recent (6 months or less), clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Valid drivers license.
