HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

ABOUT US
Doepker Industries is a leading Canadian manufacturer of highway semi-trailers. We are continually developing new and innovative designs for our customers across Canada and have won awards and been recognized for business excellence and innovation since 1948.

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Saskatoon location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Vice-President, People & Culture, the purpose of the Human Resources Manager is to implement the strategic plan of the human resources department and ensure the human resources function is adding value to the company and its team members.

Key accountabilities include:
- Lead the implementation of the HR strategy
- Coach, support and mentor the HR team members and company leaders
- Provide expertise and guidance on employee and labour relations matters
- Ensure systems are in place that facilitate team member engagement and drive the desired company culture
- Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelors degree or certificate in human resources or an equivalent amount of experience
- HR generalist experience within the manufacturing industry
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills
- Open mind-set with change management experience
- Experience leading teams
- Experience with labour relations and working in a unionized organization
- Ability to travel across all Doepker plants
- Experience with HRIS implementation is an asset
- Ability to collaborate with a team
