Description

Lube Bay Technician -GMC Buick

Help maintain and service Capital Autos customers' vehicles. Some of the responsibilities of a Quick Service Technician are; preparing detailed vehicle inspection reports, performing all light repair and maintenance services. This includes but is not limited to ;engine oil service, driveline fluid exchanges, filter replacements, tire replacements, repair and rotations. Battery and wiper blade replacement. To be successful as a Lube Technician, you should have a mechanical understanding and an eagerness to learn.  Ultimately, a successful Lube Technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers, with fellow co-workers and demonstrate excellent work ethic.

The Job
Performing all lubrication services on all makes and models of vehicles.
Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
Changing tires out to appropriate season tires.
Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
Thoroughly inspecting customers as set out with Capitals comprehensive Vehicle Report Card.
Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean work environment, this includes but is not limited to; stall, workbench and tool chest. Proper care with the cleanliness of our customer vehicles must be adhered to with zero exceptions.

Qualifications
Previous lube bay technician experience.
Sask Polytech schooling will be an asset but not required to qualify for this position.
Valid driver's license *must provide driver abstract
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Detail-oriented.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
willingness to work as a team player, in a fast paced environment.
This position is full time. Requires the successful candidate to be punctual and on time
