Description

This is a part time (with potential for full time) unionized position for 20-30 hours per week, mainly during the day Monday to Friday, some evening and weekend work will be required.

- Provide assistance in facilitating ARCA programs and activities
- Ensure that the appropriate preparation has been undertaken for the applicable program including preparing the program location, snack and any required supplies.
- Complete daily inventories for craft and grocery supplies.
-For programming specifically related to children: Plan and prepare classroom setting; oversee safety and educational programs; supervise children; provide a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.
- Interact with community members and program participants; maintain open and cooperative communication with members, encouraging their involvement in the programs
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Minimum of ECE Level 1 (or equivalent experience) preferred!
