FULL-TIME RVT POSITION for temporary maternity leave (Potential for permanent position)
START DATE: Mid August
We're excited for the chance to add to our team at Companion Animal Hospital in Yorkton, SK! Our hospital is a busy small animal clinic taking care of Yorkton & area. We are an AAHA accredited clinic equipped with digital radiograph, ultrasound, IDEXX lab system & Avimark practice management software.
We provide generous CE allowances, a great benefit package, paid SAVT dues, uniform allowance and above average wages.
Applicants are required to have completed an accredited Veterinary Technology program or will be completing a program in the coming months. Applicants must also be eligible for SAVT/SVMA registration and have plans to write the VTNE in 2021.

Specific Skills
- Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
