The Town of Gravelbourg is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Manager.
Heavy Equipment qualifications and the ability to plan and direct public works activities is of utmost importance. A minimum of five years experience working in the field of municipal public works or a closely related field is required. As head of the Department of Public Works, any experience managing staff will be considered an asset.
The selected individual will have the energy and qualifications to oversee and participate in all of the various activities and infrastructure components of a municipality, including water/wastewater, roads, sidewalks, green spaces, etc.
A civil or related engineering certification would be an asset.
The candidate must possess or be willing to acquire the following certifications:
Water Distribution - Class I
Wastewater Treatment - Class I
Wastewater Collection - Class I
Starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
