The City of Weyburn is offering an exciting new opportunity to work at the newly constructed Spark Centre as a Leisure Activities Assistant. As we continue to grow and prosper as a community, we seek a motivated and innovative employee to join our team!

Responsibilities:
-Work in conjunction with other Program Leaders to plan, co-ordinate and facilitate quality of sport, culture and recreation activities;
-Apply the High Five principals for healthy child development to the programming.
-Ensure that all activities are designed and facilitated to meet the needs and abilities of the participants;
-Help all children develop intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally by creating opportunities for planned and spontaneous play;
-Act as a positive role model at all times; and
-Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
-Must have computer software application knowledge with high keyboarding efficiency;
-Must have computer software experience with Microsoft Office;
-Well organized and able to prioritize tasks;
-Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills;
-Experience in Recreation, Leisure and Arts & Culture are considered an asset.
-16 years of age or older
-Acceptable Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
