Description

Under the direction of the Executive Director ensure that job training and opportunities are provided for clients of Canadian Mental Health Association Regina Branch.

Expectations:
-With the team and in keeping with CMHA Regina branch directives, develop, manage, monitor and evaluate the vocational program.
-Provide leadership and direction, communicating effectively and working cooperatively.
-Provide staff supervision and client direction.
-Implement financial and administrative activities that support the Vocational program.
-Collaborate with other community agencies.
-Ensure all Occupational health and Safety standards are met for staff and clients.
-Communicate effectively with all staff and members of the Vocational program as well as write reports and complete all staff documentation.

Qualifications:
-Completed Post-Secondary training in Social Sciences/or Humanities or a certificate/diploma in Addictions will be give preference.
-Demonstrated strong working knowledge of working with people with mental health concerns/addictions.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate and relate effectively with persons with mental health and addictions.
-Demonstrated ability to perform written and oral communications with usage and knowledge of computers and software packages such as MicroSoft Office 365.
-A good knowledge of community resources, programs, effective organizational, public relations and communications skills are essential .
-Demonstrated ability to follow program directions.
-Valid Driver's license.
-Ability to effectively supervise staff.
-Effective skills in organizing, public relations, communications, and problem solving.
