Job Description: The Financial Business Analyst assists the Director of Finance & Materials Management in the development, direction and maintenance of the financial and statistical information systems of the Region to ensure asset and expenditure control, proper budgetary planning, and timely financial, statistical and management reporting in the Region operations under their responsibility.
Required Qualifications

Accounting or Finance Certificate/Diploma
Enrolled in or completed a C.M.A., C.G.A. or C.A. designation or equivalent experience/combination
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Sound knowledge of financial management process; computer literate
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, sound judgment and integrity
Extensive knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs
Ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of MIS Guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Excellent computer skills an asset
Strategic business sense with ability to analyze complex information and make effective decisions.
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
An understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of the region

Expected Start Date: August 3, 2021
Expected Up To Date: August 3, 2022
FTE: 0.50

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
37.50 hours per 2 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
