Facility: Lloydminster Community Services Building
Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions Services Acute and Outpatient Care for NW and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case management services to a primarily community-based adult population. Working with the Community Mental Health Nurses, the incumbent will be responsible for providing consultative services in identifying and assisting in accessing available community resources in Lloydminster. The Social Worker develops and maintains strong relationships with other community agencies and facilitates the development of care plan for clients.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Recognized Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Recovery philosophy
Ability to work independently and in a self-motivated manner, ability to respond under pressure
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
Knowledge of a variety of mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies required to enable clients to sustain stability
Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs and support agencies is essential
Knowledge of a variety of intervention strategies (individual and group) for individuals with mental health and addiction problems in a community based setting, including, but not limited to: assessment, triage, treatment, case management
