Job Description: The Supervisor (SUN) is an integral member of the Population and Public Health team. Under the direction of a designated Departmental Manager, the Supervisor supports program administration and provides clinical consultation within the assigned Department. This includes providing direct leadership, supervision, administration, and coordination of Population and Public Health staff while delivering programming to the residents of the Saskatoon Health Region. This position is responsible for assuming a leadership role in site management, program development, quality improvement, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The Supervisor will provide leadership within the framework of the Population and Public Health concepts and strategies. Inherent in this role are superior knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to health promotion and disease prevention strategies in relevant program areas. The Supervisor will translate knowledge from the health and social sciences to support programs and best practice.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support for Care Givers (BLS-HCP)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Current CPR Certification
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Public Health nursing, with clinical expertise, as required.

Ability to network and collaborate with internal and external resources and agencies within the community
Demonstrates ability to plan, implement, and evaluate
