The Administrative Assistant is accountable for providing senior level administrative support to the Director of Indigenous Strategy. Specific responsibilities include:
- Administration and office management of Indigenous Strategy and Indigenous Student Achievement Plan divisions to ensure their effective and efficient operation.
- Financial analysis, data collection, data entry and report compilation
- Committee Work Indigenous strategy committees and committees initiated by SMC, SMA and other divisions that relate to aboriginal initiatives.
- Clerk Steno: provide steno support services for on and off campus meetings at provincial and local levels
- Other administrative duties as required, such as initiating/formatting PowerPoint presentations, monitoring budgets, maintaining and organizing filing, etc.
