Adecco is currently hiring Contract SCADA Engineers for one of their top Clients located in Regina, SK. To qualify for the SCADA Engineer role you must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering and working knowledge of SCADA best practices, standards and operating procedures. SCADA Engineer Responsibilities:
- Monitor SCADA hosts and facilities to identify problem areas, and maintain target availability levels
- Ensure internal systems and external interfaces/processes are adequately documented to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance processes.
- Resolve SCADA system problems within specified time criteria.
Development of new SCADA display management standards and organization of existing display files
- Development of a Visual Basic / XE programming standard for TGL displays
- Develop HMI displays with input from users
- Exercise lab testing of SCADA displays
- Exercise commissioning of the SCADA system database
SCADA Engineer Qualifications:
- Previous experience SCADA systems and communications networks in the oil and gas industry would be very beneficial
- Competency in software, computer, communications and cyber security
- Working knowledge of SCADA best practices, standards, and operating procedures.
- Must have a Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Software Systems is preferred).
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be EIT or P.Eng eligible to register as EIT in SK
