Reporting to the Vice President of the team, you will manage and create Rattlers content viewed by the public. In addition, you will serve as the primary media contact for the Rattlers and manage all press and media relations. The candidate should also be a self-motivated and positive professional with experience in planning and executing social media strategies, media relations, and community engagement. You should be an experienced communications leader, with a strong writing background.

Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
Demonstrates or has prior sports marketing and communications experience/knowledge
Highly organized, resourceful, independent, detailed-oriented, quick learner
Proficient with all social media platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and ability to learn required business systems
Previous experience with Hootsuite, Mail Chimp, and/or comparable social analytics platforms.
Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to work independently
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is considered an asset
