Description

Full Throttle is looking to expand the family with another mechanic on our Automotive side.

We are currently searching for an Automotive Service Technician, that preferably holds their Red Seal Journeyperson Status, and lives in the Saskatoon area. Apprentices with good, relevant experience will be considered. Unfortunately, we are not able to take on inexperienced apprentices currently.

We have a high-volume service shop that does both light and heavy-duty repairs. We work on all makes and models and strive to do repairs as close to OEM spec or better. From GM/Ford to Toyota, Range Rover and Mercedes, no day will be quite the same as yesterday. From oil changes to engine swaps, our mechanics stay busy.

Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with no weekends.

As a Full Throttle Technician, you will be expected to:
- Have your own toolbox, with a good collection of tools.
- Diagnose issues with vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Perform Test Drives to identify concerns and confirm repairs.
- Use a Variety of scanners and scopes to pinpoint electrical issues.
- Inspect both customer vehicles as well as internal inspections for vehicles going on the lot for resale.
- Perform all kinds of repairs from small jobs like replacing plugs, to big jobs like engine swaps and heater core replacements.
- Accurately fill out work orders accounting for all supplies used.
- Communicate effectively with the service advisor to ensure the customer knows the exact state of their vehicle. As well as any future repairs they should be aware of.

Between our own dealership vehicles and our rapidly growing base of customer vehicles, there is no shortage of work right now. We're booking a week ahead on a lot of jobs right now and are looking to keep expanding with more hoists, techs, vehicles and customers.

You will be busy, and your days will fly by in a great work environment. Apply today!
