We are hiring for 2 positions!!
We are in search of an equipment operator to run Sprayers, Floaters, Swathers, Tractors Etc.
Experience with newer type farm equipment is a must, some experience with a sprayer and floater is an asset.
The second position is for someone who wants to be an all round farm hand. Working with animals, running equipment, yard work etc.
We run an 8000 acre grain farm with 650 cow calf pairs and a feed lot.
Must have :
- Class 5 drivers license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Reliable vehicle
- Experience running farm machinery
- Ambition to learn
- Ability to work long hours in busy seasons (Spring & Fall)
- Ability to take directions and follow instructions.
- Ability to work alone and as a team.
- Farm experience.
- Experience mixing chemicals
Assets would include but not limited to:
- Class 1A license
- Minimum 5 years experience on a grain farm or ranch.
- Heavy equipment operating tickets.
- First aid training.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Experience running a crew.
Starting wages are based on experience . Starting wages from $18.00 per hour up to $30.00 per hour.
Meals and accommodations are provided in busy seasons if needed.
Farm hand positions will be a full time year round position, Equipment operator can be seasonal or year round full time for the right candidate. Must be willing to relocate if needed.
