Duties & Responsibilities
1.Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials in order to meet their needs;
2.Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication;
3.Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives;
4.Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements;
5.Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides;
6.Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials;
7.Co-ordinate sub-contracting;
8.Estimate costs of materials and time to complete graphic designs and illustrations;
9.Work in a multidisciplinary environment;
10.Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians;
11.Adapt existing illustrations.
Qualifications:
1.Other trades certificate or diploma with specialization in graphic design, commercial art or graphic communications;
2.1 - 2 years experience in graphic design (published work, design sample or example of complete work should be provided);
3.Adapt to fast-paced environment, be able to work under pressure to catch deadlines;
4.Attention to details, ability to distinguish between colors;
5.Effective interpersonal skills, good team player;
