Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our team as a Vehicle Fire Services Technician in Regina.

About the role
As our new Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician you will you will join our dynamic team to provide quality mobile service to our customers in the repair and maintenance of Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems and other fire and life protection services in the Southern Saskatchewan area.  

As a fully trained technician you must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are willing to train the right candidate who is willing to grow and pursue a career in fire and life protection services.

Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities including:

-Inspection, installation and maintenance of VFSS equipment at various customer sites
-Provide Extinguisher and Emergency Lights inspection/repair
-Troubleshoot and provide solutions to service related problems.
-After hours on call will be required.
-The ability to travel out of town as required for extended periods or overnight stays
-Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs

Qualifications
-Grade 12 or equivalent with post-secondary training in a mechanical related field or relevant experience
-The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience in fire equipment servicing
-Valid drivers license with clean abstract/driving record provided yearly
-Mechanically inclined with excellent troubleshooting skills with a background in basic electrical

Physical requirements include:
-Must be able to work from ladders, in restricted spaces, outside in the elements, and have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
-Prolonged sitting in vehicles, and driving.
-Climbing, kneeling, standing on equipment to perform recertification or repair.
-Must be comfortable working in underground mine sites
