PARTNERS Family Services is seeking a full time permanent Family Support Services Coordinator. This position is 32.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm based out of Humboldt, and requires frequent travel within a 100km radius.
In this vital role, the Coordinator is responsible for overseeing a team of staff who deliver in home support services for vulnerable families involved with, or at risk of involvement with, child protection services. The Coordinator is responsible for case management, data collection and maintaining strong relationships with other stakeholders including child protection workers, educators, and other community based organizations.
The Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the Triple P Parenting program, a program designed to support all families with children 0-12 who are seeking additional resources to build their parenting capacity.
Requirements:
- BA, BSW, BISW, or similar 2 year diploma in human services (i.e. child and youth care)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct work experience with at risk and vulnerable families
- Minimum of 1 year supervising a team of 3-5 staff
- Demonstrated understanding of the Saskatchewan Child and Family Services Act and the provincial duty to report requirements
- Valid First Aid, CPR
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License
- $2mil in personal liability vehicle insurance
- Access to a reliable vehicle for frequent travel in Humboldt and the surrounding 100km radius
