Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Produce Team Leader at our Food Store location in La Ronge, SK

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, Responsibilities for this position include the following:
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
Lead a culture of safety and maximizing operational efficiency
Provide leadership through coaching, development and feedback
To manage the activities and operations of the La Ronge Produce Department to achieve budgeted goals including but not limited to ordering, merchandising, margins, expenses, culture, recruiting, scheduling, productivity and performance
Procurement, receiving and merchandising of product with focus on customer- friendly presentation
Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
Other Duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and customer service and:
You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; background in the retail produce industry considered an asset
Youre well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
You must be able to plan and organized your own work and that of others, supervise others, and delegate to others
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated, and strive to be the best in what you do
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
Physically fit  involves heavy lifting and extensive manual labour
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
