Supervise care facilities and following operating policies and procedures.
Evaluates home care program and care facility staff on a regular basis and offer input to continuously develop procedures.
Receive and review all resident/client and Care Aides concerns.
Receive referrals, as they come in.
Understand licensing verification and authorization process.
Act as a resource for all Care Aide staff in problem solving for concerns.
Help facilitate admission interview and assessment of residents/clients
Helps assign staff to care situations consistent with their skill level.
Advises Senior Management on the daily resident and home care activities related to client care provided by aides.
Develops safe Care Aide scheduling standards based on the care needs of the residents/clients
Adheres to best practises when performing treatments.
Provides residents/clients with the knowledge and assistance to learn appropriate self care techniques.
Accurately records residents/clients condition in the documentation.
Observes, records and reports to the appropriate professional the symptoms, reaction and changes including general physical and mental condition of residents and clients, signs and symptoms which may be indicative of changes in their health, and stresses in human relationships between residents/clients and personnel, and their families and visitors.
